Lay the pattern pieces onto your main fabric, lining up with the grain line and carefully cutting out each piece.
Machine the two tie pieces A and B together matching up the notches along the centre seam. Use a 1cm seam allowance and press the seam open and flat.
Overlap the interfacing along the 1cm seam line and sew together flat. This reduces the bulk at the seam.
