Completing the tie tips

At either end of the tie, fold the point in half with the right sides together. Sew across from the folded edge to the dot and reverse. This allows the fabric to roll back and creates a perfectly tipped point.

With the right sides together, pin the lining to the left hand side of the tie point seam allowance. Matching up the dots in the middle of the point.

Sew a 1cm seam from the edge to meet the stitching at the dot.

Now do the same on the right hand side and trim the fabric at the point.

Turn the tie point the right way around and press carefully to create the tipping points at each end.
