Place the pocket on the pattern pieces then position where you would like it to go and mark the corners on the pattern. Transfer these markings onto your fabric.
Place wonder tape along the three sides of your pocket and stick the pocket onto your fabric front.
Use a longer stitch and tweezers if necessary to sew the pocket on – it’s easier if you don’t reverse the stitch or use a locking stitch, just leave long thread ends and when you’ve finished bring the thread ends to the back and tie off.
You can reinforce the pocket top corners by sewing a little triangle or rectangle at these points, it’s easier if you draw the stitching line in with a fabric marker.
