Make up remover pads – Overlocker method

Make up remover pads using a sewing machine

Draw around the circle template on the right side of the cotton/ jersey fabric.

Place the towelling fabric and the cotton/ jersey fabric wrong sides together and pin in the centre. Roughly cut out the circle.

Overlock around the edge following the drawn line cutting off the excess, when you come to the end overlap the first stitching by an inch before pulling the pad off the machine.

Leave a long tail end.

Thread this tailend back into the stitching either using a knitters hand sewing needle or a loop turner and trim.

You will now have a lovely eco friendly make up remover pad! Remember to wash these pads regularly to keep clean.

Now why not try our simple drawstring bag project to keep your lovely pads in.
