Fold each petal in half lengthwise and with right sides together, finger press the centre fold.
Sew a ¼ inch seam along the top (wider side). Clip the corner within the seam allowance.
Turn the point inside out and wiggle out so the point is nice and sharp. Press flat aligning the seam line with the centerfold.
Repeat with all 16 wedges/ petals.
