Draw around your circle template and cut it out. Bonda web (or interfacing) will prevent your circle from moving/ stretching so it’s a good idea to use it on the back of your circle along its edges.
Place the circle over your daisy, covering up all the raw edges of the daisy. Pin or hand baste then use a zig zag stitch to applique it on.
Give everything a good press.
If you prefer to hand applique the circle, cut another card template circle out but ¼ inch smaller than the fabric circle. Place this template onto your fabric and press the ¼ inch seam allowance all the way around. Pin or baste in place and hand stitch around the circle edge.
This sample shows a hand appliqued version.
